Mikhail S. Ananyevskiy was born on 4th June, 1982 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Received diploma degree with distinction in applied mathematics in 2004 from the Saint-Petersburg State University (SPbSU, Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty, Department of Theoretical Cybernetics).

Fields of research: control of quantum systems, control in Banach spaces, nonlinear control, feedback control.
